How to set up Edison Mail on Android

This article demonstrates how to set up the Edison Mail app on Android to access an XauZit Cloud e-mail account.

To configure Edison Mail to work with your XauZit Cloud e-mail account on an Android device, follow these steps:

  1. Start Edison mail.
  2. Select whether or not you want to grant Edison Mail access to your contacts, photos, media, and files:

  1. Tap Other:

  1. On the Add Other Account page, in the Email text box, type the e-mail address of the account you created in cPanel:

  1. In the Password text box, type the password for the e-mail account you created in cPanel.
  2. Tap the Advanced Settings slider:

  1. In the Hostname text box, type mail.example.com, where example.com represents your domain name:

  1. Leave the Username text box empty.
  2. Confirm the Port text box is set to 993.
  3. In the Security list box, tap SSL/TLS.
  4. In the Hostname text box, type mail.example.com, where example.com represents your domain name:

  1. In the Username text box, type the e-mail address of the account you created in cPanel.
  2. In the Password text box, type the password for the e-mail account you created in cPanel.
  3. In the Port text box, type 465.
  4. In the Security list box, tap SSL/TLS.
  5. Tap Login:

  1. Tap Continue:

  1. Tap Go to my Inbox:

  1. Tap Accept or Decline to participate in Edison Trends:

  1. Edison Mail downloads any messages in the account, and the inbox appears:
