How to update the nameservers at third-party registrars

When your domain is hosted at a third-party registrar, you need to update the nameservers so your website and e-mail can work correctly at XauZit Cloud. This article provides specific resources for domains hosted at common registrars like GoDaddy and Namecheap, and also covers general steps for updating nameserver settings.

About nameserver updates

Until you update the nameservers for your domain, visitors cannot view the site hosted on your XauZit Cloud account. However, all you need to do is log in to your domain’s registrar and update the nameserver (NS) records to point to XauZit Cloud.

After you update the nameserver settings for your domain, it can take up to 24 hours for the DNS changes to take full effect.

If you need assistance, our support team is here for you. Just open a ticket on the XauZit Cloud Customer Portal at https://my.cloud.xauzit.com/, and we’ll help you get up and running.
